TALKING TO A DUTCH GIRL

It amazes me how time goes by so fast, it's been 3 years since my cousin left for her wedding in Holland, she now has a very intelligent and beautiful baby girl.

 

She already speaks Dutch like a little parrot!

When I met her I spoke to her in English because I knew that there is a certain relation between English and Dutch and certain words she understood me.      

            Obviously I got lost with her way of speaking but I'm curious to know conjugations, phrases,  words and how to order a sentence in Dutch. 

I went to investigate the Dutch language and I find it very curious that many words have many consonants, it seems like a tongue twister! 

As an example, "angstschreeuw", which means "a scream of terror", has only eight consonants, and "slechtstschrijvend", which means "worse written", has only nine! It is awesome.
